One of the main changes we have made recently is to reassess our carbon footprint. Here at Make Their Day we already recycled all our cardboard packaging and put any organic waste into compost bins, but we have just changed our plastic cellophane for biodegradable cellophane and as well as the regular deliveries of high quality flowers from the flower capital of the world, Holland, we are also buying from British growers and sourcing our outdoor plants from local nurseries. You will see these outside on our display stands, a cheerful splash of colour as your drive through Charlton Kings I’m sure you’ll agree. We are trying to become as eco friendly a florist as possible and pride ourselves on our commitment to being as green and planet friendly as we can.
We are very lucky at the moment, August is a fantastic time for British grown flowers with Alstromeria, Cosmos, Dahlia, Gladiolus, Phlox, Salvia, Stocks and much much more all blooming beautifully.
