Seasonal blooms with a woodland look

Whatever the season you are getting married in the chances are you want to use seasonal flowers. Especially if they are locally sourced. The woodland feel is taking a seasonal bloom to the next level. Perfect for any vintage affair and set to continue to be one of the hottest wedding flower trends for a while yet to come.

Loose and free-flowing bouquets

The tight round bouquets are becoming a thing of the past being replaced with a looser and natural look. Brides are still thinking “more is more” but instead of the flowers being specifically placed they want them to flow better. A sort of “I’ve just collected these from the garden” look. Perfect for a lovely garden and summer-inspired wedding. These flowers are still styled to perfection. They don’t just happen to look this way. You can get a specialist to design your wedding flowers perfectly.

Richer colours

If you were ever conscious of your colour scheme, this year is the year to be bold. Using deeper richer shades in your flowers are becoming a big trend this year. Deep berry and red are all popular along with less traditional colour choices such as burnt orange and peach.

Edible items like strawberries and raspberries look set to be a wedding flower trend for 2021!

Edible Designs

Alongside the use of local and seasonal flowers. More couples and brides are looking to incorporate fruits and edible flowers into their bouquets. Things like fruit vines and herbs are adding a more earthy feel. Also, things like raspberries and strawberries are looking popular. Both adding texture and a touch of sophistication. We have talked about using flowers in food before, this just takes it to the next level!

Wear the flowers

Just as they did years ago in romance novels, brides are now choosing to wear their flowers instead of carrying them. Things like flower crowns are becoming the accessory of choice. You may also want to consider corsages, pins, and clips which can replace jewellery.

Trailing Ribbons

Layered ribbons on bouquets are set to become a wedding flower trend for the spring and summer months. Using it as a fun way to incorporate a colour scheme into a bride and bridesmaids bouquets. Ribbons will showcase your pretty florals. This trend is a really popular choice for church weddings.

Pastel romance feel

Finally, pastel shades of expensive glamorous flowers are also fast becoming a trend for this year. Using pastel cooler shades for the winter months and pinks for summer. Roses, orchids and hyacinths can all give you the desired look you are after.
